从（……至少）3 个方面看待视频注释：

1\) 职前教师可以录制他们的课程，并收到有关录制视频的反馈，指出他们教学方法的优缺点（在特定时间点！！！）。学生、同龄人和有经验的老师之间可以就反馈进行对话。

2\) 使用视频注释的翻转学习方法可能用在任何学科。老师上传一段视频，学生可以给视频加注解来提问或表示困惑（在特定时间点！！！）。教师（或其他知道答案的同学）可以通过回答问题来澄清误解。随后的同步会话可用于整理和扩展注释中最有效的对话。

3\) **异步会议**与会者随意观看录制的视频演示（不再有冲突的并行会议！！！），并通过注释与演讲者互动。演讲者在仔细考虑反馈后，在方便时回复。与前两种情况一样，可以进行富有成效的对话，而且反馈可以精确定位到谈话中的特定时间。此外，注释者和响应者有更多时间思考和撰写。在同步情况下，没有多余的时间，我们得到的只是现时最好的回应。异步会议还避免了旅行的需要（减少碳排放！！！），并解决了同步会议会出现的时区问题。

随着像 Perusall 这样的专用平台的出现，用于学习的注释已经向前迈进了一大步。

从 Howard, C.D., 2021. [Participatory Media Literacy in Collaborative Video Annotation](https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s11528-021-00632-6). TechTrends, 65(5), pp.860-873的论文来看，如果考虑用先前的堆叠方法，将注释叠加到 youtube 视频上——显然不是很理想……。

从以下看来Perusall 的界面更易于管理，且对话以带有时间戳记的线程进行组织管理。
